Meet Audi a Chihuahua mix with some awesome ears. We believe she is related Ky.
Audi is about 3 years old. She is spayed, up to date on her shots, and microchipped. She is very much a lap dog.
Audi, Our Queen Bee of the shelter. Yes we still have her available for adoption..
She wishes No Human men in her life. She is people selective , and it will take 3 or 4 meets with her before she decides whether to like you or not. Being a Chihuahua, that kind of says it all. And she really needs a fenced yard. Does not need to be huge.
Audi is also an Alpha dog. She is the boss. No matter the size of the other dog. Once the other dog knows she is the Queen all is good ?
She has bonded with the majority of our shelter staff, and yes this 15 pound Queen can be a love bug. She so deserves a home of her own. Audi is housebroken, loves toys , good with cats and most other dogs. She is spayed and current on vaccines. Audi has been the mother hen of the dog room. She has taught multiple puppies the door to use for the dog yard and has helped the shy dogs come to life and play. She has seen so many dog friends get adopted. We hope her turn comes soon.

Shorty
Shorty wants to let everyone know that he is back at our shelter. He was returned on October 16. He was doing a lot of arm nipping and grabbing.
The heeler breed can be people selective and they need a lot of activity to burn off their energy. Since he has been back at shelter he has NOT grabbed any arms or hands or any nipping. We have a lot of different volunteers each day, with no issues.
He does like to jump and lunge , so we are working hard to break that bad habit.
He maybe selective with some men.
He is 10 months old, neutered, microchipped and current on vaccines.
We are looking for an experienced Heeler adopter who has plenty of yard for him and continue some training. He is also housebroken. We recommend no small kids , and he can be selective for a dog friend.
We try to be as honest as possible as to the type of a home a dog needs. Probably a home with no cats, but it all depends on whether your cat likes dogs as well.
