Flicka

Look at this beauty.  Meet Flicka.  A female Border Collie mix around 3 years old.  She spent several months in our local dog pound.  

Flicka was spayed on 7/28.  A few days later she started displaying symptoms of a false pregnancy.  Her hormones went crazy, and all her toys were her babies.  But, she is finally turning the corner and coming out of it.  We think by the end of next week she will be ready to find a family.   

She walks great on a leash and knows a few commands.  She is a bit shy on first greet, but warms up quickly.  We have not tested her with small children.  Possibly this week.   She also suckles her blanket.   Blankets are pretty important to her.   

Guess what.  She is house broken too.  Has never made a mess in her kennel here at the shelter.  To apply for adoption, please complete an application.
